Overview: We are seeking an experienced DevOps Architect to join our EDP team, focused on accelerating software development for the energy sector. The EDP Platform is a cloud-native, service-oriented, hybrid cloud platform providing application teams with self-service capabilities for infrastructure, lifecycle management, and delivery.

• Architect DevOps solutions across AWS, GCP, MS Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Build distributed, modular software architectures, focusing on microservices and SOA.
• Manage Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible), and GitOps workflows.
• Implement DevSecOps practices, IAM (OAuth, OIDC), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Enhance observability with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
• Collaborate using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Backstage.io.
• Optimize development processes for efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience architecting DevOps solutions in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Strong knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture, Microservices, and Kubernetes (Yaml, HelmCharts).
• Proficiency in Docker, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible), and GitOps concepts.
• Advanced understanding of IAM, OAuth, OIDC, and DevSecOps principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux, Flamingo), and observability tools (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana).
• Proficiency in multiple programming and scripting languages (Java, Go, C#, JavaScript, Python, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex requirements and abstract concepts.
• Expertise in Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent team collaboration and cross-functional skills.

• Fluent in German, as the project is conducted in German.
