One of the world’s largest Telco firms is looking for Mobile App Developer for Warsaw team!

Our client is a global leader in telecommunications and consumer electronics. With a strong focus on innovation, they employ over 70,000 professionals in R&D across 17 research institutes worldwide. We are developing a new operating system aimed at addressing device fragmentation and vendor lock-in. In this role, you'll be part of the Eclipse Oniro project, collaborating with a distributed team and open-source communities. We’re seeking a communicative, organized, and responsible individual to help us build a robust app ecosystem.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of mobile applications using TypeScript
  • Develop or port mobile apps with cross-platform frameworks like React Native
  • Smooth integration of mobile apps into the core OS infrastructure
  • Provide guidance to Eclipse Oniro Working Group members
  • Present developments at developer conferences
  • Experiment with new technologies to evaluate their potential
  • Document work products, concepts and architecture
  • Recommend and lead software development improvement initiatives
  • Participate in open-source projects

Kogo poszukujemy?

Skills:
  • At least 5 years of experience in mobile app development and architecture
  • Strong interest in learning new technologies
  • Good understanding of object-oriented design patterns and their application in mobile apps
  • Experience with React Native and other cross-platform frameworks
  • Proficiency with GIT version control and CI/CD tools
  • Familiarity with the Linux command line
  • Fluent in English (upper-intermediate or higher)
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with open-source projects or communities
  • Experience with TypeScript
