Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer for a 3-month long migration project. The project involves working with data from an ERP system, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, particularly with SQL Server, Azure services, and data modeling.

• Design, implement, and manage data migration processes for the ERP system (MS Dynamics 365).
• Develop and maintain SQL Server databases (both Azure and on-premises), including creating views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Work with SSAS Tabular models for data analysis and reporting.
• Utilize Azure services such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Key Vaults, and Data Lake for data integration and storage.
• Leverage Azure Databricks for advanced data processing and analytics.
• Collaborate with data analysts to ensure data quality and integrity throughout the migration process.
• Optimize data pipelines and workflows for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data migration and transformation.

• Strong experience with SQL Server (Azure and on-premises), including creating and managing views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Proficiency with SSAS Tabular models.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Key Vaults, and Data Lake.
• Experience with Azure Databricks.
• Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets and extract actionable insights.

• Knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 schema.
• Experience with Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Understanding of the medallion architecture for data engineering.
