About our client: We are providing a comprehensive IT asset management solution designed to simplify the lifecycle management of hardware and software for businesses. Their platform offers seamless integration with a variety of external services, including directory services, HR systems, and payment providers, helping companies manage procurement, setup, and disposal of IT assets more efficiently.

As a Backend Developer you will be working tightly with both frontend and backend developers on the API and core functionality of our platform.

Work with a team of engineers to build out the backbone of our platform, written in Ruby on Rails. Conceive of and deploy improvements to the architecture of the platform and overall processes and systems and coach the development team on best practices and help them grow along with the company.

Our goal is to have a well-tested and well-architected platform to build upon for years to come and this role will have a large impact on how we best accomplish this.

• 7 years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Experience maintaining and improving upon large code bases
• Experience working with / writing test suites that perform well and have avoided a flake or 2
• Experience with Postgres and how to optimize it
